Policies & Safety

At Lavuren Campus, your safety, comfort, and peace of mind are our top priorities. We are a dedicated all-women's environment to ensure your privacy, with 24/7 security and key card access for your safety. To maintain our serene and secure community, we kindly ask all guests to respect our core policies: a strictly non-smoking indoor environment, a no-alcohol policy, and a no-male visitor policy beyond the lobby.

  • All-Women Environment & Visitor Policy: Lavuren Hotel is proudly an all-women environment, which means our guests and staff are female to ensure comfort and privacy. Male visitors (including drivers or delivery personnel) are not permitted beyond the lobby area. If you are expecting a male driver or a delivery, our staff will receive items or meet them at the entrance on your behalf. Female friends or family members are welcome to visit you in your room or hotel outlets, but they must check in at the front desk and carry a visitor pass while on the premises. We kindly request all guests to respect this policy, as it is integral to the safety and serenity of our community.

  • No Smoking & Prohibited Items: For the health and safety of everyone, our hotel maintains a 100% smoke-free environment in all rooms and indoor areas. There is a designated smoking spot in the outdoor courtyard if needed. Please refrain from using e-cigarettes or vaping in your room as well, as smoke detectors are sensitive. Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly forbidden on university premises (note: PNU is a dry campus). Additionally, cooking appliances (hot plates, etc.) and open flames (candles) are not allowed in guest rooms for fire safety. Violations of these policies may result in a cleaning fee or further action, so we appreciate your cooperation.

  • Safety & Security: Your security is our priority. The hotel is monitored by 24-hour security personnel and CCTV cameras in public areas. All exterior doors are secured; use your room key card to re-enter the hotel after 10:00 PM. Do not hesitate to report any suspicious activity to the front desk. In-room safes are provided for your valuables; the hotel is not liable for unsecured items. We advise keeping your room door locked and using the door viewer before opening for anyone.

  • Fire Safety & Evacuation: Please take a moment to note the fire exit diagram posted on the back of your room door. It shows the nearest emergency exits and assembly point. The hotel is equipped with smoke detectors, sprinklers, and fire alarms for your protection. If you detect fire or smoke, activate the nearest alarm pull station and evacuate immediately via the stairs – do not use elevators. Our assembly point is in front of the hotel by the fountain courtyard. If the alarm sounds, follow the illuminated exit signs and proceed calmly to the ground level. Our staff will assist and guide guests to safety. We conduct periodic fire drills; if one is scheduled during your stay, you will be notified.

  • Courtesy & Conduct: To ensure a pleasant stay for all, we ask guests to observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM in hallways and public spaces. Please be mindful of noise levels, especially if you’re returning late from events. Appropriate attire (casual modest clothing) is appreciated in public areas out of respect for our shared community standards, though head coverings are not required inside the women’s premises. Photography in the hotel should respect the privacy of other guests. Lastly, please treat the facilities and fellow guests with kindness – our hotel community thrives on mutual respect and understanding.
